CLEAR CRITERIA. A TRANSPARENT PROCESS.

How ¡Clarooo! assesses and monitors businesses

A place on ¡Clarooo! cannot simply be bought. Every business must first complete a careful screening process based on clear criteria. Even after approval, transparency, professional conduct and customer experiences remain important.

On this page, you can read what we assess, which documents we request, how we handle complaints and when a business is granted an active profile.

BEFORE APPROVAL

What do we consider when screening a business?

We do not rely solely on documents or online reviews. We want to understand who is behind the business, how it operates, how it supports its customers and whether its reputation reflects the values and criteria of ¡Clarooo!.

Legal identity

We verify who is behind the business, whether it is properly registered and who is authorised to represent it.

Legal compliance

We assess whether the business carries out its activities in accordance with the relevant legal and professional requirements.

References and reputation

We review the references provided, public reviews, customer experiences and any recurring patterns of complaints.

Business history

The agency must have been demonstrably active and officially registered for at least three years.

Transparency

We assess whether clients receive clear information in advance about the property, the asking price and the area.

Professional practices

We consider how the business communicates, follows up on agreements, supports customers and handles questions or problems.

APPROVAL

The complete picture determines approval

No single criterion is considered entirely on its own. One negative review does not automatically result in rejection, just as a complete set of documents does not automatically lead to approval.

We assess the complete file, the explanations provided, the business’s transparency and its willingness to cooperate with the screening process.

Approved

The business meets the eligibility criteria at the time of assessment.

Additional info required

Further documents, statements or clarification are still required.

Decision pending

A final assessment cannot yet be made.

Not approved

The application does not sufficiently meet the criteria, or serious concerns have been identified.

Legal representation
  • Identification of the legal representative

  • Proof of authority to represent the business

  • Contact details of the responsible person

Which documents may we request?

The documents required may vary depending on the sector, legal structure and business activities. We only request information that is relevant to the screening process and treat all non-public documents confidentially.

Registration and incorporation
  • Deed of incorporation or registration documents

  • NIE, CIF or self-employed registration details

  • Proof of business registration

  • Current business address

DOCUMENT REVIEW

Professional operations
  • Professional liability insurance, where relevant

  • Licences or sector-specific registrations, where required

  • Examples of agreements or engagement confirmations

  • Information about commissions, fees and payment terms

Reputation and experience
  • Professional references

  • Evidence of the company’s operating history or experience

  • Links to its website and social media channels

  • Additional supporting documents needed to verify specific information

Documents submitted for screening are not made publicly available. The company profile only displays information that is relevant to customers and has been approved for publication.

AFTER APPROVAL

Screening does not stop when a profile is published

An active status on ¡Clarooo! is not an unlimited or permanent right.

Businesses must continue to comply with the participation requirements and quality criteria.

01

Periodic re-assessment

We periodically review whether the business continues to meet the applicable criteria.

02

Important changes

The business must report relevant changes to its ownership, representation, registration, insurance, activities or address.

03

Credible signals

New information or credible reports may lead to additional checks.

04

Information updates

Company information and relevant documents must remain up to date.

How does ¡Clarooo! handle complaints and concerns?

We take credible reports about participating businesses seriously. However, a complaint does not automatically mean that a business has breached our criteria. Every report is assessed carefully and as objectively as possible.

Receipt

We register the report and assess whether it is sufficiently specific and relevant.

Additional information

We may ask the person submitting the report to provide dates, documents or other supporting evidence.

Right of reply

Where appropriate, the business concerned is given the opportunity to explain the facts.

Assessment

We consider the seriousness, recurrence, reliability and relevance of the information.

Decision

The report may be closed, followed up further or result in appropriate measures.

¡Clarooo! never publishes accusations or complaints and does not maintain a public blacklist.

What does an active status on ¡Clarooo! mean — and what does it not mean?

An active status means that the business has completed our screening process and met the applicable criteria at the time of assessment. The screening helps reduce uncertainty and makes relevant information more accessible. However, it does not guarantee that every future service, transaction or agreement will proceed without problems. Customers remain responsible for their own agreements, legal decisions and choice of service provider.

What happens if a business no longer meets the criteria?

When new information, changes or complaints indicate that a business may no longer meet our criteria, ¡Clarooo! may initiate a reassessment.

01
Clarification requested

The business is asked to provide additional information or supporting documents.

02
Improvements

Where shortcomings can be corrected, the business may be given a deadline to address them.

03
Temporary suspension

The profile or label may be temporarily deactivated while the investigation is ongoing.

04
Permanent removal

In cases of serious or persistent shortcomings, the business may lose its active status and profile.

Any measure taken will be proportionate to the seriousness of the situation. ¡Clarooo! reserves the right to intervene more quickly where customers or the platform may be seriously affected.
